The Chase

Ain Khairi: Yoohooo! Guys…what are you up too? What’s with all the noise here? Is there a surprise party going on…Come on guys, I hate surprises!

Loraine…? Jeanette…? Where are you? There is no time to play hide and seek in the library! Hey, can you guys at least answer me…hello?!

Loraine…? Jeanette…? What…is this? What is happening here?!

Bada: Ara…someone spotted my handiwork.

Ain Khairi: Who…who are you? What have you done to them?!

Bada: I asked them a few questions…however their answer is non satisfactory to my own personal taste.

So I draw my swords, ended their miserable life and decorated the library decors with their blood!

Ain Khairi: No!

Bada: So now, I am moving on to my next target…YOU!

Ain Khairi: No! Don’t come near me! Stand back!

Bada: I will ask you once and I will never ask you again…where in this library is the Sacred Continent Scrolls kept hidden?

Ain Khairi: Never heard of it! …and for someone who is about to die anyway, even if I knew what it was or where it is…I am not talking!

Bada: Good answer.

Ain Khairi: Seriously? Hurray!

Bada: …now die!

Ain Khairi: …but…but…you said…

SCREAAAMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bada: Urghhhhhh…..!!!!

Ain Khairi: What is this terrible racket!!!

Kanbei: Come…hurry!

Ain Khairi: Wha…what happened to her?

Kanbei: She’s fainted, but not for long. She can’t cover her ears properly while wielding all those swords of hers, so she has fallen for the screams of this mandrake…

Ain Khairi: That mandrake is for my biological science project!

Kanbei: Consider your research successful then, now hurry…we must hide! The effects won't hold of for long.

Ain Khairi: ...but...but...

Kanbei: Hurry!

(minutes later)

Bada: Urghh...damn mandrake!

To Be Screamed...I Mean Continued!

The Librarians of Utopian Archives

Ain Khairi: Yappa! Yappa! Yappa! Yap! Yap! ...get a job! Queen Rasa's whining is getting on my nerve, and worse...every radio station is broadcasting the same lame speech that she made in the Senate Hall!

Kanbei: ...

Ain Khairi: Where is the Utopian Top Ten Music Chart of The Week? I can't find it!

Kanbei: You are making this much noise in a state library...you are still not fired for being a chatterbox?

Ain Khairi: Who's the chatterbox you freeloading bookworm! Remember...I AM your senior here!

Kanbei: Oh...i see.

Ain Khairi: Is that it? Is that your super reaction to my explanation?!

Kanbei: You...hated queen Rasa?

Ain Khairi: I am beginning to dislike the queen...not that i am saying this because i have the same judgement with the commoners in Zelagross.

Kanbei: You are of noble blood aren't you? Don't you despise the Commoners like any other Noble does?

Ain Khairi: You naivety surprises me! Haa! Haa! Not all Nobles are like Nobles and not all Commoners shares the same view on what other Commoners think of...

Kanbei: I rarely witnessed such passive feedback when it comes to the Nobles and the Commoners topic.

Ain Khairi: Nobles are human too Kanbei, sometimes we are just tired bickering about such prolonged issues...why can't we just get along with each others?

Kanbei: It is undoubtedly that you as a Noble had some extra privileges compares to that of your normal friends and acquaintances.

Ain Khairi: Off course i do...even so the priviledge set by the Utopian rule are not enough to make someone stirs up a rebellion or sending the entire Utopian Fleet squashing your opponents like flies!

Kanbei: ...and?

Ain Khairi: ...we got priviledge over Utopia's basic necessities and facilities, education, hospitals, finance...bla...bla...bla...but it's not enough to spark the fire of rebellion. It won't create enough hatred.

Kanbei: So what do you think the problem is?

Ain Khairi: The Conservatives! The Nobles with the mentality of cavemens! The conservatives wish for nothing more than a power shift in Utopia. Do you know that the Conservatives contributes 57% of Queen Rasa's votes back when we are polling for a replacement during King Panthera's absences.

Kanbei: So what faction of Nobles did you belong to?

Ain Khairi: Lord Mana. He encourages the Nobles to adapt to the changing world, gaining new skills instead of raising the swords and start plundering other civilizations richest.

Kanbei: ...you are going to fall from that table.

Ain Khairi: I am not!

Kanbei: Yes you are.

Ain Khairi: ...always finds reason to bash each others up...yikes...!!!

Kanbei: Told you...

Ain Khairi: *^%(&%^*^%^&&**...

Kanbei: ...are you alright?

Ain Khairi: One...Two...Three...UNO...DOS...TRES...i am seeing multiple images and a wobbly feet...

Kanbei: Sit down...you are not feeling alright.

(Crashing sounds)

Ain Khairi: What is that sound? I'll better go check this out!

Kanbei: You better check yourself out...there are still stars above your head.

Ain Khairi: I am going to investigate the lower floor. It must be near, since we can hear it quite clearly. I hope it's not book robbers or some kind...

Kanbei: What kind of people keen enough looking for books to steal...in the library? This is nuts...

Ain Khairi: ...now, don't go anywhere! Protect the books! I will be back soon enough!

Kanbei: We better check this out together...

Ain Khairi: No...no...no...no! stay here, protect all these interesting centuries old manuscripts, journal, news...and the most important thing is...protect my thesis and research report. I was halfway through it!

Kanbei: ...just, go already!

Ain Khairi: ...I'm going...I'm going! Stay here!

Kanbei: ...don't worry, i won't go anywhere!

Ain Khairi: ...minutes, just give me a minute!

Kanbei: ...(sniff...sniff...)...There's a thick and heavy smell of blood in the air...

Take 5

How do you guys like our marathon post? does it help speeds up the whole story a bit? Ha...ha...yes, the story is quite lenghty. Sorry readers! That's the way the story meant to be.

There are more events and story that needs to be told...err...post. Rest assured that we are getting more and more action with every new update because the flashbacks, the history lessons is all behind us now.

One or two characters already shown us their fighting skills! ain't that sweet? We are hoping to depict the battle scene as closely and as realistic as we all can.

I would like to thank our auxilary crew for working on this speed marathon and end up with not enough sleep at night, updating and updating and keep on updating the stories! Yeah! Again, thanks guys!

The readers and AIC members: thank you for still reading, commenting and supporting us all the way!

A happy God Friday and happy fasting!

Reppu Kiri

Reppu is a mercenary. Like every mercenaries dreams, Reppu hopes to make it big…because fame will bring in a lot more money, reputation and respect amongst the mercenary network.

…this brings Reppu to offer his service to the Utopian Federation during the nation’s crisis.

Reppu is skilled in the skill of the Martial Arts. Wielding dual Katana and a blade, Reppu trains hard in order to be prepared for the unexpected enemies he might encounter.

Expect the unexpected and be prepared for any possibilities, Reppu took careful calculations and put every aspect into consideration when faced with the enemies.

Playing safe, most greenhorn mercenaries teamed up with each other to cover up their weakness and flaws if the task includes exterminating certain hostile targets or persons…but Reppu prefers to work alone so that he can reap up all the rewards for himself, without sharing!

Reppu is also very confident of his fighting skills.

Stand My Ground

Queen Rasa: What does this mean? It does not only mean the total exclusion of the Commoners from the Utopian economic system... It means much more! No Nobles can be expected to live under the same roof as Commoners. The Commoners must be chased out of our houses and our residential districts and made to live in rows or blocks of houses where they can keep to themselves and come into contact with the Nobles as little as possible.

Senate: Queen Rasa, you are acting way beyond your power and jurisdiction! Do you think you can get whatever you wish for because you are the Utopian Queen? What about the obligation that the Nobles had over the so call “inferior” Commoners? The nobles also had their share of responsibilities in keeping their part of the promise.

Queen Rasa: We kept our promised, as always…like the many thousand year before me and in this presence as well. However the Commoners are always being the opportunist, like vultures waiting for the best time to strike at the carcass.

Don’t you gentlemen here are not familiar with the events where the Commoners tried to take advantage of the Nobles kindness years ago? When my father, the great King Panthera; 3001st ruler of Utopia started this nation first economic reformation? A revolution that transform this nation from barbaric war mongers into a self sustainable, industrial and technologically advanced nation that rivals that even the combined might of the other countries and kingdoms of today.

My father, the King…had helped the Commoners in infinitely many ways. He saved your lives for abolishing the warlike tradition where the commoners are valued as nothing less than as tools of war for the nobles…

The economic reforms and the privilege of participating in commerce for all caste transforms the commoners lifestyle as they prosper from merchants and trade practices…many commoners are made wealthy with overflowing fortunes.

Member of the Senate, have you ever wonder what if my late father has no interest in sharing such golden opportunities to the commoners? To be selfish and give in ways only to the Nobles and leaving you Commoners to tend to yourself in the cold streets…barking and ravaging like stray dogs without food, clothes and shelter?

Senate: Enough! The political reforms ended in failure. Business rivalries tear the relationship between the Nobles and Commoners further apart. The Utopian social standards didn’t change for the better.

Queen Rasa: The Economical reforms indeed fail…

Senate: (laugh)…that we knew very well. We are…

Queen Rasa: …The first rebellion was sparked by a refused legislation where the Commoners demands their standards to be raised as equaled as that of the Nobles. When this scheme fails to bring desired result, the Commoners tried to gain Noble status through marriage with minor Nobles of Utopia.

Now tell me, who is the ungrateful ones?

Is this how the Commoner repays for the generosity of the Nobles?

Diversion

Queen Rasa: You complain… of the boundless cruelty with which the Utopian Nobles seek to rid themselves of the Commoners inferior elements…yet formerly the great Nobles of Utopia, without blinking an eyelid, for whole decades open handedly admitted these Commoners as comrades side by side.

But now… the nation is no longer willing to be sucked dry by such parasites, on every side one hears nothing but laments…lamentations have not led these prosperous federations of countries to substitute helpful activity at last for their hypocritical questions; on the contrary, with icy coldness we had been convinced time and time again – through acts of uprisings, rebellion and terrorism, had assured us that obviously there was no place no more for the aggressive action that had been undertaken by the Commoners led by a disillusioned and power hungry noble in their self declared territory. … So no help is given, no rational delegations offered, no compromise will ever be given a chance to the traitors of Utopia!

"So, we are now going to have a total solution to uprising issues that had openly challenged the dignity of the Utopian Federation and its founders, it’s leader…the masters of the would be servants. The programme is clear. It reads: total separation, total segregation!

Commoner 1: This is nonsense! Queen Rasa is mad! It is clear that she won’t tolerate us commoners in any kind!

Commoners 2: The queens always blame the commoners for whatever abuse the nobles had done to our land!

Commoners 3: To hell with the nobles! All they know is to plunder, rob and pillage their neighbouring kingdoms. My home was burned to the ground…my brothers and sisters sold as slave, and my country lost to those barbaric invaders!

Commoners 2: I serve the army all my life, and my noble officer takes credit from all the sacrifices that been made by the common folk that fought hard to shape this nation. I was expecting thanks from our queen…but look what she has to say too us now! Ungrateful little brat!

Soldier 1: That’s enough all of you! Keep those comments to yourself or you taste my carbine muzzle!

Commoners 1: You Noble’s dog! How dare you wag your tail here and pretend that you are not a commoner yourself!

Soldier 1: I may be the noble’s dog, but guess who’s gonna get the nasty end of my rifle now!

Commoner 3: Damn you Noble dogs!

Commoner 2: Stop it! Don't hurt him!

Soldier 1: You're asking for trouble, you garbage heap!

Soldier 2: Why you….take this!

Commoner 1: No!!!

Soldier 2: URRGHHHH...!!!!!!!

Soldier 3: Who…are…you?

Michii: …your angel of death.

Soldier 3: We will see about that...here! Eat this!

Michii: Futile…

Soldier 3: ...stay away!

Michii: You reap what you sow...and now prepare to pay for your misdeed!

Soldier 3: ...

Commoners 4: We thank you for saving our lives.

Michii: …I might have saved you today, but who will safeguard your tomorrow?

Commoner 1: Huh?

Michii: The Queen hates all commoners. Sooner or later, she is going to get you. ..all of you.

Commoners 3: …but what can we do?

Michii: Join me…we rally against the queen. We march towards the capital!

Commoners 2: We will support Zelagross!

Commoners: Yeahhhhhh……!!!!

Commoners 4: …down goes the queen!

Commoners: …down goes the queen…down goes the queen…down goes the queen!!!

Michii: …did you hear that, Tangerine? The commoners from the slum district are yours to command!

Tangerine: Splendid job as ever.

Michii: You are welcome.

Rendezvous

Queen Rasa: For us, this is not a problem you can turn a blind eye to-one to be solved by small concessions. For us, it is a problem of whether our nation can ever recover its health, whether the racism spirit can ever really be eradicated. Don't be misled into thinking you can fight a disease without killing the carrier, without destroying the bacillus. Don't think you can fight racial tuberculosis without taking care to rid the nation of the carrier of that racial tuberculosis. This Commoners contamination will not subside; this poisoning of the nation will not end, until the carrier himself, the inferiors, has been banished from our midst.

Senate: So what you are suggesting here Queen Rasa, is that after all these millennium, you are saying that the Utopian problem are originated from the Commoners? That the commoners should be blamed for all the crimes ever committed in the Utopian History, even the ones that was clearly done by that of the Nobles?!

The work force of the Utopian Federation? The farmers that struggles day and night bringing food to the table? The military strength and the conscript that are sacrificing their lives for every extra inch of extra land the nobles craved so badly? I can’t see clearly where you are going with this…this ridiculous speech!

Deadbird: Sanji, did you observe the Senates reaction while Queen Rasa delivers her speech?

Sanji-Q: Err…does it matter? Somehow they look rather unhappy about the whole ordeal about the Utopian Social Caste and the way the Queen keep dissing the commoners as being somewhat being blamed as the source of the whole trouble.

Deadbird: Sanji…65% of the people inside this building are commoners. This includes the staff, the Senates, military personnel and others that participate on today’s event.

Sanji-Q: Technically we are being surrounded by angry people?

Deadbird: …and getting more and angrier…if this keeps up and somebody blew off their steam, we are going to face a whole bunch of voluntary mobs running down towards the podium.

Sanji-Q: …it makes me wonder if we are on the wrong side of the team here.

Deadbird: We serve Avalon. Avalon served the Queen. Right or wrong it is our duty to protect the Utopian Queen.

Sanji-Q: Tsk…such chivalry.

Deadbird: I am going draw back the military personnel guarding the outer perimeter, it’s easier to request for reinforcements that way. ..and having more backup presence near the queen might ease up some of this negative energy surrounding the Senates. They won’t try anything foolish…the very least…

Sanji-Q: You’re the boss…

Headquarters: All sentries at gate 1 to 8 please fall back to the Plaza Hall Perimeter. I repeat…all sentries are to fall back to the outer perimeter at the Senatorial Plaza Hall this instant.

Superspectre: Hey…hey, Tangerine…do you copy?

Tangerine: What is it Specs?

Superspectre: The Utopian Military are pulling back their troop deeper inside the building. So…what shall I do?

Tangerine: …you better join the crowd because if you don’t some top brass might get suspicious.

Superspectre: They WILL be suspicious if they see that out of the whole battalion that you roasted at the South Eastern gate, I am THE ONLY ONE survivor of such an attack…and at the same time, reporting to the officers that everything here is “A” okay!

Tangerine: If you don’t go they are going to get suspicious anyway…

Superspectre: …that won’t solve my problems!!!!

Tangerine: Looks like you have to be self reliant for now. I’m heading your way…meet me at the Utopian Troops rendezvous location.

Superspectre: Tangerine? Tangerine…hello? HELLO! Don’t hang up on me …I hate her!

Tangerine: Winterberry, I think you need to speed things up a little bit.

Winterberry: …heard that, affirmative!

Tangerine: This took a lot more effort than I tought…
